My husband and I have recently decided to open up our marriage. It wasn’t what I wanted and I am reluctant, jealous and insecure about it but I cannot deny that we have not been fulfilling all of each other’s needs. We are very much in love and committed to honesty. I can’t throw away the amazing bond and life that we have because he is polyamorous and needs more in his life. So I’m trying to be brave and learn and hopefully find other people to jive with, increase my confidence and enrich my life.

I’m a demisexual and really need to get to know someone and jive with their personality before I’m ready to do anything physical. I’m also fairly private and stand-offish by nature and I need time to warm up to people before I’m ready to trust them. I’m often uncomfortable talking about myself in a way that may seem like bragging. I have a strong sense of justice and i believe in giving selflessly. I am funny and witty and smart.

I’d like to spend time with someone kind, easy going, and affectionate who just wants to enjoy my company and can be flexible and pleasant if things don’t always go to plan.

Selfishly I would like to be treated sometimes. I want my feet rubbed, I want to be complimented and shown off, I want to danced with, I want to have a date or outing planned for me where I just have to show up. Not every time, but sometimes. I have been calling shots and taking care of others since I was ten years old and every now and then I’d just like to be taken care of.
