I’m in an amazing and supporting polyamorous relationship. She encourages me to meet more like-minded people to develop connections, network with other creatives, make friendships that can develop intimacy. For now (during the pandemic), I am laying low (Monogomish)...but open to flirting, texting, FaceTime, or even social distance dates. I do have kids 50/50, week on/week off...so you’ll only get to hang out every other week.
Ideally, I am only available for a FWB situation...but I tend to really put my effort into maintaining my friendships (and learning how to please each person to make them feel acknowledged, appreciated, even loved). That does not mean a friendship can’t evolve into a girlfriend situation. I don’t mind dating people with kids because they may have more of an understanding of the struggle to schedule dates and deal with someone who can get exhausted emotionally and physically (especially parenting amidst a pandemic/distance learning).
Professionally I am an art educator and Illustrator/painter on commission. I’ve lived in California for 16 years...but still doesn’t feel like home to me. If you can show me your favorite spots, maybe I can change my mind to learn to love it. As a 44 year old learning all about myself again, I’m open to explore;)
